Waterville, Maine 1890 Census

$19.95

[From the Introduction of the book] “We are very lucky to have a copy of the Waterville, 1890 Census, as only 1% of the census survived a 1921 fire that occurred at the commerce Building in Washington, D.C. The 1% that survived consists of a few scattered counties in Alabama, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota and Texas. (Information taken from “Your Guide to the Federal Census” by Kathleen W. Hinckley.)” From this it can be determined that the typed copy which exists in the Taconnett Falls Chapter library is the only one in existence. At one time it was copied and GBC-comb bound, but has been out of print for a number of years. It is now brought back and offered to the public. We hope that you enjoy it. 6x9 in., 300 total pages, paper-bound. ISBN: 9781935573821
