The May-Flower & Her Log

$22.95

This work was originally published in 1901 with additions added in 1907. Mr. Linscott has reformatted it here for the Mayflower enthusiast of today, as finding an original copy for your bookshelf is quite rare. While the format may have changed, Mr. Ames' work has been duplicated exactly. The only new additions are the preface and index. This is a facinating look at the ship and her passengers. Chapters discuss the May-Flower's consort, the Speedwell, the May-Flower's charter with information about the ship itself; a look at the ships officers and crew; as well as the passengers, quarters, provisions, cooking and laden (cargo). Copies of original maps and illustrations highlight the book. The appendix includes the agreement of the merchant adventurers and planters, many letters written by Robert Cushman, and the Mayflower Compact. A bibliography and a new fullname and subject index is included. With 6 illustrations, and an enhanced, every-name index is included. 8.5x11, soft cover, 220 total pages, illustrated, indexed. ISBN: 9781935573418.
